Where once we walked

At the beginning of the 20th century, Helsinki was actually two cities; that of the rich upper class and that of the poor workers. South of the Long bridge lives the independent and cuirious Lucie is growing up, refusing to fit the mold of the upper class women. Lucie’s soul mate and friend in adolescence is Eccu, who has been fiercely in love with the wild and eccentric Lucie since the age of 17. However, the only one who can set Lucie’s heart on fire is Allu, a younger working class hero, football genius and son of a Red rebel.

The story follows through decades how time, place and social class unites people –and sets them apart.
