Where once we walked

Where once we walked is a story of young people, love and passion.

It all takes place at the beginning of the 20th century. The series is about the First World War, Finnish Civil War decade, conficts between the socialist Reds and the capitalist Whites and in the first place - people with their fates.

Where once we walked is a series based on Kjell Westö’s novel Där vi en gång gått, which won the Finlandia award in 2006. In Westö’s works the capital of Finland plays a a big part, therefore Helsinki is a main scene in the successful story produced by Helsinki-filmi.
